Interim management | ShowTime

ShowTime… An initial six month assignment led to the development of the company’s biggest technical innovation and unique selling point.

ShowTime Company
ShowTime is a digital satellite entertainment platform, similar to BSkyB, transmitting over 22 channels to 13 countries across the Middle East and Africa.

Problem
The company needed an experienced marketing executive to cover for their Head of Marketing who was going on maternity leave.

Solution
As well as business as usual the assignment led to the launch of two new TV channels across the region. It also led to the development of the company’s largest IT project, a major programme of new innovations including Interactive TV with online shopping, web access, games and e-mail, an electronic programming guide and Pay-Per-View films. This was developed and project managed by the Interim Head of Marketing

Result
The assignment took 18 months and provided ShowTime with a strong range of unique selling points that it could promote to its subscribers across the region.
